At the heart of our kitchen is Head Chef Ragheb Elchaar, whose passion for baking and craftsmanship shapes everything we create. He studied Hospitality in Lebanon for six years and brings over 20 years of hands-on experience, including nine years in Lebanon and eleven years in Australia.
Established in 2014, Wollongong City Patisserie is built on a commitment to quality, freshness, and excellence. Chef Ragheb is ISO and HACCP certified, ensuring every product meets the highest standards of hygiene, food safety, and consistency.

Our custom cakes are especially close to our heart. We love bringing ideas to life, matching themes, colours, and designs to make each cake feel personal and memorable.
Randomly stopped in to this place since we were nearby and got two delicous cheesy crossiants and some of the best freshest donuts Ive had in ages. The custard was excellent. The man who served us was very friendly and threw in two free date cookies and he also upgraded my drink. Gotta love a creative bakery with fresh snacks. Will definitely come back to support them 😋💖
A small shop, but big on taste! I ordered a cake from Wollongong City Patisserie to thank the staff at a local school, and it was simply perfect. The cake looked stunning, with a flawless colour theme, and even better—it tasted absolutely delicious! Everyone enjoyed it immensely. Wollongong City Patisserie is not only a talented baker but also a true professional with a heart for the community. Highly recommended!
The absolute best pain au chocolat I’ve had anywhere in NSW. The Arab chocolate is incredible as well. Will definitely be coming back soon!
