Welcome to Wollongong City Patisserie (https://wollongongcitypatisserie.com.au/). By accessing our website, purchasing our products, or placing an order for custom cakes and pastries, you agree to be bound by the following Terms & Conditions.
1. General Conditions
By agreeing to these Terms, you represent that you are at least the age of majority in your state or territory of residence. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.
2. Custom Orders & Bookings
Quotes: Quotes provided for custom cakes are valid for 7 days. A booking is not confirmed until a deposit or full payment is received.
Design Accuracy: Every cake we create is handcrafted. While we strive to match inspiration photos provided by customers, slight variations in color and design may occur.
Lead Times: We require a minimum of [48-72] hours’ notice for most custom orders. Large event cakes may require more notice.
3. Payment & Security
Payment Methods: We accept payments via Stripe (Credit/Debit Card) and other methods specified at checkout.
Deposits: For custom or large orders, a non-refundable deposit of 50% may be required to secure your date.
Final Payment: Full payment must be cleared prior to or at the time of pickup/delivery.
4. Cancellations & Refunds
Our products are perishable and often custom-made.
Cancellations: If you cancel your order within 48 hours of the scheduled pickup, the deposit or full payment may be forfeited to cover the cost of ingredients and labor.
Refunds: Refunds are only provided in accordance with Australian Consumer Law (e.g., if the product is not fit for consumption or does not match the description). We do not offer refunds for “change of mind” after the product has been made.
5. Collection & Delivery
Pickup: Once a cake leaves our premises (Shop 2, 39 Bethlehem Street, Cringila), Wollongong City Patisserie is no longer responsible for any damage caused during transport. We recommend placing cakes on a flat surface (like the floor of the car) and keeping the vehicle cool.
Third-Party Delivery: Orders placed via Uber Eats or other third-party platforms are subject to their specific delivery terms and conditions.
6. Allergies & Dietary Requirements
While we offer products that may be nut-free or gluten-free by recipe, our kitchen handles gluten, nuts, dairy, and eggs. We cannot guarantee a 100% allergen-free environment. It is the customer’s responsibility to inform us of any severe allergies at the time of ordering.
7. Pricing & Availability
Prices for our products are subject to change without notice. we reserve the right to modify or discontinue a product (like seasonal pastries) at any time.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including images of our cakes, logos, and text, is the property of Wollongong City Patisserie and may not be used without our express written permission.
9. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
